Inmigrantes Wynqoos 28 Art Gallery (Miami) showed work by Mario Segundo Perez at Aqua Art Miami 2018. Perez is an Argentine artist.
His work (that I have seen in any case) often features fruit. There are, obviously fantastical elements here but these are juxtaposed with stylized, realistic human forms. Tragically he passed away due to complications from surgery a few months before this year's Miami Art Week. This is terrible news and hopefully his work will continue to garner the recognition it deserves.
