James Andrew Brown's From The Heart Runs at Detour Gallery (24 Clay St., Red Bank, NJ) September 7 to October 19, 2019. There will be
a reception from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, September 7.

The work consists of "raw assemblage consisting of energetic brush strokes and collages, congregated by mediums, I can't wholly recognize, all compounded into a perfect story that I still feel in my spine" according to perhaps the most impassioned press release I've ever seen from a gallery (usually they are full of art school jargon).

It bodes well for the exhibit.
