Even artists who show their work with regularity are always looking for ways to reach more people and different people. There are only so many galleries and so many shows. Add to that that you are basically reaching the same people in those galleries and at those shows.

But what if you hang your work in a place people go without planning to see art?

Penelope's (1913 W Division St, Chicago) and Camille Iemmolo show how fashion retail and fine art can be complimentary.

"For me, I'm a vintage wearer I collect vintage and I love fashion. I was designing my own clothes when I was, like, six," says Iemmolo. "Art follows fashion, art always follows fashion."

Iemmolo has a new studio in Pilsen where she creates these new pieces. This show will last only a few more days from September 13. Go see it.
