Weiss Berlin showed work by Alex Becerra at NADA Miami Beach 2016. Bercerra's expressive pieces do not spare the paint. It is laid on on heavy but not uniformly. The heavy paint brings the objects out of the background. They seem almost three dimensional. He doesn't do this with all of his work--just like all of his work isn't strictly figurative.
