The exhibit features more than 50 exceptional fashion photographers from Life from the 1940s to 1970s at Spring Studios (6 St John’s Lane). Public access to the event takes place July 22,23,24 (Fri-Sat-Sun), 10am-6pm and July 29,30-,31 (Fri-Sat-Sun), 10am-6pm.
The exhibit is a rare look into 30 years of fashion history in New York City. Photographers include: Margaret Bourke-White, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Peter Stackpole, Yale Joel, Nina Leen and Gordon Parks. Fashion icons in these photos include Marlon Brando, Audrey Hepburn, Eartha Kitt, Jessica Tandy, Marilyn Monroe and Gloria Vanderbilt.
