Untitled (Traces) Shirin Gallery (511 West 25th St. Suite 507 New York) presents Mahmoud Hamadani's Sonatas and Partitas from February 26 to March 20, 2015. There will be a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015.
The exhibition features the art of four distinct series of drawings: Requiem, Traces, Endless Roads, and Odes. The pieces range on ruminations on light and shadow to ruminations on Rumi.
The artist has a BA in mathematics from the State University of New York and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. His work is held in the collection of the British Museum and he has been exhibited in New York and London.
