Shirin Art Gallery (Tehran) presents Cars & Automobiles, a group exhibit in gallery 1 and 2, beginning Friday, January 10, 2014. Hours of the oepning are 4 to 8 p.m. The exhibit will be on view daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The exhibit explores the cultural ubiquity of the car. The artists here focus on the cars prominence over the past couple of generations. The car first appeared in Iran around 100 years ago and, like everywhere else, it became part of everyday life--of society.
