SGS Arte (Brescia) showed work by Mark Streben at Scope Miami Beach 2017.
These pieces have a little bit of Christo in them on one hand ;that was my initial, superficial first glance. The reason for this assessment isn't completely off the playing field but rests on the work's hints of the architectural.
I always want to find Cy Twombly in pieces so I often reach for that comparison. There is a little bit of Twombly's child-like style here but these pieces are more complex, and as noted architectural.
