Sevil Tunaboylu’s solo exhibition, In My Mind, runs at Sanatorium (Asmalı Mescit Mah. Asmalı Mescit Cad.

In My Mind is a sort of diary that the artist has woven together from both internal and external landscapes. These things may be moments, things, people that she archives to resist outside threats to her personal history, her identity.
The artist has a BA in painting from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She is also a co-founder (with Erkin Gören) of the Mtaär Artist Initiative which hosted a series of exhibitions in 2009-10.
