There is no way to capture this installation in a photograph, or really in a video. You have to see it so while you have a chance? Go see it (if you read this ex post facto? Sorry!).
I neglected to get the NAME of the large installation piece (made up of smaller drawings). It has its genesis in a period in the artist's life when she was in London undergoing treatment for eye problems, serious problems. An artist faced with the possibility of loosing their vision is a terrifying prospect; it is not a matter of losing their livelihood but a part of themselves. The women in the smaller drawings feature eyes for heads in many cases and there is something of the ancient Mediterranean in the composition. This was not an original thought of mine but rather something pointed out to me.
You can see more of the artist's work HERE.
