Sadie Coles HQ, and Fischer's Small Rain specifically, were possibly the most photographed at Art Basel Miami Beach 2014. Fischer's piece just makes any photo--taken with a high end camera by a real photographer or by a cell phone--look grand and surreal. It is a beautiful installation and a clever one too.
It also prevented me from getting decent photos of the numerous other pieces shown in the gallery's booth--excepting Sasnal's untitled piece. This pastoral piece is a wonderful bridging of the ever-present gap between realism and the abstract. It is a painting that makes you see something new every time you look at it, even in a photograph. An exhibit of Sasnal's work is going on NOW at the gallery in London.
