Hayden's pieces will be of interest to the people who have interest in art and the means to purchase art but who lack a great deal of space (ahhh city living!). These works are small and can easily be hung in your not-so-spacious NYC apartment, condo etc. For years people have mentioned to me how they were interested in purchasing art but simply did not have space for large works in their homes. Pieces like these offer an option.
Haydon, from Canada, moved to Chicago in 1917. He attended the University of Chicago receiving degrees in Philosophy. He also studied at the Art Institue of Chicago.
Turner made vaguely cubist art that usually had some relation to classical music. In a way his pieces are visual reimaginings of classical works.
Koppe, from Minnesota, studied with Turner, Cameron Booth and Nicolai Cikovsky. He also studied at the Institute of Design under Laszlo Moholy-Nagy and others. Later he became an instructor at the Institute.
