This piece is oil, crayon, gouache, acrylic on gesso board. It is a eye-catching piece. There is something haunting about it, a little disturbing. It made me think of a movie poster for some reason--although it would have to be a Guillermo Del Toro movie. The work (speaking not just of this piece) is vibrant, colorful and alive. There is some thread of darkness through it all.
