Masullo's colorful, geometric pieces are all named by number. While this one MAY make you think of a cityscape but others, often more colorful, seem like pure geometry.
Zinsser's piece almost looks like fabric when, in fact, it is oil on canvas. I have no earthly idea as to why it is called Oedipus the King. Zinsser also uses spray enamel and/or primer paint in some of his intricate, textured works.
Webster's work below is oil on panel, which seems to be his favored surface and medium. His work isn't figurative but when I look at it I see figures, almost personalities. I confess to not being sure why and I make no claim that this was the artist's intention!
