OSME Gallery (Vienna) showed work by Jakob Kirchmayr at Scope Miami Beach 2017.
Kirchmayr is an Austrian artist (the gallery handles people from various nations). His art is created with no preliminary sketches or models of any sort. There is a certain tension in these pieces and one has to wonder if this comes from the "off the cuff" way the artist works. It is fascinating that the works with clear figurative elements (ie..people) had no sketches or other preparation. It is almost hard to imagine it.
