Jenssen, from Norway, will present both oil and acrylic works. The pieces relate to nature and reference the history of landscape painting tied to the modern world's probems with air pollution.
These pieces are a continuation of an earlier series, The Letharia Paintings.
Niva's Foldaway is a painting series of spatial montages. The artist uses overlap and folded laayers to depict spatial orientation. The works show how painting can show space, time and vision. The work may be assembled from panels or be asymetricm emphasizing parallelism, volume and flatness.
"Foldaway" refers to how those who see the works identify space.
