Octavia Art Gallery (at 4532 Magazine Street, New Orleans) has a new exhibition, Cuba Connection, opening April 6 and running until April 27, 2013. There will be an opening reception 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday April 6.
The exhibit is of work by Cuban and Cuban-American artists including Luisa Mesa, José Antonio Choy, Alex Hernández Dueñas, Piki Mendizabal, Karlos Perez, Victoria Montoro Zamorano and others.
