The subject is a matter is not saints and Biblical themes but modern mythology. Khaisman’s world is the world of film noire and the modern, secular world. He takes something we take for granted, something mundane, and turns it into art.
It is possible to get a fairly good idea of these pieces from the photos—although it is sort of cheating to know what they are made of in advance. Check out the video chat with Khaisman below. The audio is a bit low but it is worth pricking up ears.
