Mary-Anne Martin Fine Art (New York) showed work by Isabel De Obaldia at Art Basel Miami Beach 2016.
De Obaldia was born in Washington D.C. She studied architecture in Panama and drawing in Paris (her parent's homelands) before receiving an BFA in Graphic Design and Cinematography from RISD.
She works in glass as you can see from two of the pieces here--Poet (Diosedu Tara) and Amber Howler--are glass pieces. The other piece, El Secreto, is mixed media on heavy watercolor paper.
