This piece by Opie is strangely mesmerizing. The motion of the animated beings is strangely human-like even with their nonhuman heads.
Opie is an artist who seems to do everything; painting, sculpture, video, film, music etc. There seems to be a little bit of everything in the artist's work--sometimes just hints of the past mixed with technology. He is noted for his portraits and designed an LP cover for Blur. It would be neat to see more album art from him; it is a type of art that, like vinyl, has returned.
