San Francisco) February 6 to March 29, 2014. There will be a reception for both from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 6.
The exhibit is Marsolier's first solo exhibit at the gallery, who now represent the French artist on the USA's West Coast. Her photographs have a painterly quality. She uses collected images, archived over long periods of time to create a data bank of images she uses in her photomontage landscapes.
Josephson, an American Conceptual photographer, presents an exhibit of higly experimental black and white photos from the 1960s and 70s. They tell the story of his exploration of abstraction with light and "man's dialoge with nature."
Josephson too is known for his layered photo within photo work, often playing with the notions of truth and illusion in photography.
