The exhibit is entitled Skyscapes and features over 20 works that can be viewed online HERE. Schueler, born in Milwaukee, was an Abstract Expressionist artist who became prominent in the 1950s. These pieces origins are in a trip the artist took to Scotland in the late 1950s.
Career highlights include a solo exhibition at the Whitney in 1975 and a group exhibition with Milton Avery and Mark Rothko at the Cleveland Museum of Art in the same year. His work is held by over 50 public institutions worldwide.
