Laramee's work starts with carved books and pigment. This set is the Encyclopedia Britannica. He creates a landscape out of these discarded books. While this piece is fairly large he create smaller pieces based on carved books, pigment, shellac, graphite powder, damar-roisin wax varnish etc.
