Among the galleries taking part in Expo Chicago (September 19-22, 2013) is Jerald Melberg Gallery (Charlotte, NC). Among the stellar artists represented by the gallery is Susan Grossman. The pieces you see surrounding are drawings by Grossman.
She is not the only notable the gallery is shown; Works by Robert Motherwell, Romare Bearden and Wolf Kahn will also be on display. Kahn’s work is another personal favorite. From Germany (he resides here now) Kahn went to school at the University of Chicago. His use of color in his pieces is so unique he is one of those artists whose work you can spot from across a room, based on palette alone.
