The exhibit is new work using different mediums; painting, photography and drawing. Scott was trained as an architect and uses a different process for his drawings. He uses cutting, stenciling and overlapping paterns to create multifacted planes. Part of the aim here is to create a bridge between drawing and sculpture. It is probably a good idea to see these in person as flat images are unlikely to do them justice.
Scott, born in New Haven, CT, is now based in New York. He received a BA in Architecture and Fine Arts from RISD.
