Kalidas Karmakar's paper works, Alluvial Diary And Realization make up the top three photographs here. The pieces are mixed media handmade paper and of various dimensions. They were also not for sale. You can see diferent aspects of how beautiful they are by looking at the long shot and the two closer shots. There is detail, light, designs within designs. It makes you want to learn to craft paper.
Below Karmakar's work is Great Kali by Rokeya Sultana. This striking piece is likewise on paper and is a "mixed media" print. It would be interesting to know the process. It recalls a print by the late Louise Bourgeoise posted earlier.
MUCH more on this booth--interviews with two multi-media artists (video, performance art etc) will be posted shortly. One with Monica Jahan Bose and the other with Nazia Andaleed Preema. Keep an eye open for these.
