Galerie Laurent Godin (Paris) showed pieces by David Kramer at Untitled Miami Beach 2014. These pieces are some of the first I've seen that seem to mirror our lives on social media...and sometimes mock our lives on social media! You can see more of the work HERE.
Someone needs to artistically deconstruct the irritating phenomenon of memes and how they seem to have become a substitute for actual thought. Bravo to Kramer.
Kramer has had solo shows in North America and Europe going back just about ten years. He holds a BA in Fine Arts from George Washington University (DC) and an MFA in sculpture from Pratt.
