Galerie Karsten Greve (St. Moritz) showed these pieces by Fausto Melotti--which may surprise a little since the artist is best known as a sculptor. Both pieces are plaster/mixed media. It would be be interested to know what, precisely, the other media are.
These pieces, especially the upper one, have to be seen to be appreciated. There is a depth to them that does not come through in a photo--a landscape quality. They are small but fascinating.
