We spoke with Galerie Fosblom before Expo Chicago 2013. Among the artists shown were Stephan Balkenhol. To the right are Women In A Green Dress and Man In A Pink Shirt. Balkenhol's work always stands out because it is is unique--his relief pieces are large, colorful and eye catching.
But the gallery shows more than that. Other artists include Adam Saks, Chantal Joffe, Günther Förg, HC Berg, Jacob Hashimoto and Tony Oursler.
Galerie Forsblom, in Helsinki, are another gallery that seem to overshadow others based on uniqueness alone. Everyone remembers the pieces by Balkenhol and Oursler but their other artists, though more subtle, are always memorable.
