The Wall by Guillaumette Duplaix Paris gallery, Galerie Bruno Massa (Paris), showed piece sby Guillamette Duplaix, Max Papeschi and Pierre-Luc Poujol at Agua Art Fair in Miami Beach. As you will notice from these images the gallery shows a wide range of styles--mixed media, acrylic on canvas and photographs.
Like many of the galleries showing at Aqua (which I persist in spelling like the Spanish word for wate) the artists here are "emerging." Emerging is a curious term. I have seen it applied to artists who have clearly emerged and who have never sold a painting with equal fervor.
These artists seem to fit the term perfectly; they are not household names even amongst people well-versed in art but it does not take much research to see the uptick in interest in all of them. So yes, Galerie Bruno Massa brought truly emerging artists to Miami Beach in 2013.
