Galeria Senda (Barcelona) showed paintings by Oleg Dou, Gino Rubert and Anthony Giocolea at Pulse Miami 2013.
Dou is an artist we've written about before. In 2011 the Russian artist's work was also shown by Galeria Senda at Pulse. His works, at that time were inspired by 19th century photos of dead children.
Giocolea was born in Atlanta and currently works out of New York City. His works in sculpture, painting and photography.He studied at the University of Georgia This piece is graphite, acrylic and china marker on mylar.
Rubert is a Mexican artist who was also shown previously by Galeria Senda at Pulse Miami (apologies for the typos in the link). As stated there his work has an odd perspective and feels almost like stills from animation. There is something lifelike about them too which is odd given the studied unnaturalness of his subjects.
