Fits by Clare Grill Dying on Stage:New Painting in New York is a group exhibition of New York-based painters opening at Garis & Hahn (263 Bowery). It runs from June 20 through July 20, 2013. Painters featured include: Sarah Faux, Tatiana Berg, Ariel Dill, Kristina Lee and Clare Grill. The exhibit was curated by Kyle Chayka.
There will be an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20th.
The artists are all abstract painters who use a similar "approach" which has been termed "New Casualism." This is the first NYC show bringing together this new sort of abstract artist.
