Die Galerie (Frankfurt am Main) showed work by Volker Stelzmann and Carl-Henning Pedersen at Art Miami 2016.
Stelzman was an instructor at the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts and, for the past decade has been professor emeritus at Berlin University of Art. He is more the painter these days that instructor.
Pedersen began as a poet and became a painter due to the influence of his wife, Danish painter, Else Alfelt. The first thing you notice about his work is the masterful use of color. It is on a level with Chagall (in my opinion anyway).
