Christine Elfman's Even Amaranth runs July 14 to September 3, 2016 at Gallery Wendi Norris (161 Jessie St., San Francisco). There will be an opening reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 14. The artist will give a talk at 6 p.m.
This is Elfman's second solo exhibit with the gallery. These photographs are beased on the flower associated with Diana, the goddess of the hunt/fertility--"amaranth."
Her work include anthotypes, photograms and landscapes.
Elfman is based in San Francisco. She is originally from the Philadelphia area. She has a BFA from Cornell and an MFA from California College of the Arts.
