Charles Jaurelly ’s Mirrors runs from March 15 to April 26, 2013 at Feast Projects, : Unit 307, 3/F, Harbour Industrial Centre, 10 Lee Hing Street, Ap Lei Chau, Hong Kong. There will be a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013.
Jaurelly is from France and lives and works in Arcangues, France. He paints in both acrylic and enamel. He often uses a contrast between matte and glossy surfaces. In this series he explores both abstraction and formation. He is trying, in these works, to show how the human psyche can be overwhelmed by the complexity of the modern world.
A shuttle bus is available for guests on 15 March. The bus departs from the main entrance of the General Post Office (2 Connaught Place, Central) to Ap Lei Chau gallery at 5:45PM, 6:15PM, 6:45PM, 7:00PM, 7:15PM and 7:30PM.
