“On a global level it is about human suffering and how we endure.” says Iemmolo. “We are handed suffering for a reason.”
A year and a half ago the artist broke 13 bones on Friday the 13th and almost died. Her brother has life-long medical issues. We all need Band-Aids now and again but how we look at these injuries, large and small is what, at least partially, defines us.
The photos below, on the outside of the house are of the Society of Bankers and the Society of Rushers (I am unsure why I capitalized these but it just seems right). What these represent in our society, perhaps, need little definition.
