Jemimah Patterson is from Reading in the U.K. and attended Central St. Martin’s College of Art & Design in London then continued BA work at the Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art at the University of Oxford. Patterson has worked as a curator, gallery manager and a consultant, all the while working on art and taking private commissions
Pattersom is now a full-time artist working out of Wimbledon.
Patterson is having an exhibition at Boltax Gallery in Shelter Island, New York (21 North Ferry Road). There is an artist’s reception on Saturday, August 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit runs from August 5 to 29.
The gallery is open Thursday through Monday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
