Blunt (Toronto) showed work by Gillian Iles at Scope Miami Beach 2014.
Gillian Iles' pieces at Scope were of wildly varying sizes. The smaller pieces combine painting and sculpture. The small landscapes have tiny figures in the front of the painted parts. The two dimensional paintings gain depth via the figures and the juxtaposition of other small works.
Iles work has been shown all over North America and she is an honors graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design.
She also has a show upcoming at Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery, Broward College, from January 29 to February 26, 2015. There will be an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m Thursday, January 29 with an artist talk at 7:30 p.m.
