Love ArtNowNY (548 W 28th Street, NYC) is set to show Happy Place, new art by Joseph Grazi, from November 7 to 30, 2013. There will be a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 7.
Grazi lives in Brooklyn. He has a BFA in Film and Animation (School of Visual Arts). This new work is sculpted in bones, bat wings,marble, roses and more. His work confronts the anxiety most of us have about death. But this isn't about grimness or despair? His work is optimistic in a way. This new work, Happy Place, is a celebration of the certainty and, indeed, the beauty of the certainty of death.
