Mandala No. 19 Art Lexing (Miami) showed these pieces by Ye Hongxing at Scope Miami Beach 2014. We posted pieces by the Chinese artists from the same gallery in 2012.
As noted then her work is distinctive. They are all "crystal sticker collage" on canvas. If you look at the close up of the piece on the bottom you will notice some of the stickers are pop culture errata.
Also allow me to add that, as I post these piece on art tonight, I wonder how I can post about art in the face of recent events, events that make any sensible person fear the advent of a police state where even video evidence won't send a cop to trial.
