Aqua Art Miami and the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD) collaborating during Miami Art Week 2016. AWAD, a London-based non-profit trade network, with a mission to make business between women art dealers easier. The collaboration within Aqua focuses on highlighting women gallerists during the fair and special projects from women curators.
There will also be a couple of special events:
"Unconscious gender bias and the art world: What's the reality for women art dealers, and what role do they have to play?", a morning panel discussion takes place 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, December 2. The panel will be moderated by Susan Mumford, founder and CEO of AWAD.
