Gronemeyer is a German artist who lives and works in Berlin. Her work is in the permanent collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Ludwig Forum (Aachen, Germany).
Curtiss is a French painter currently living in Brooklyn. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. There is a wry humor in her paintings. You almost feel like you are looking at a frame of an avant garde graphic novel. Her paintings represent aspects of the female body but the faces always seem obscured (I looked on her website to see other pieces). She definitely has her own style.
