Alessandro Twombly born in Rome and he lives and works there now. He has held solo exhibits in New York and all over Europe. I do not mean one or two solo exhibits--his work has been shown regularly over the past 20 years.
Twombly is both a painter and sculptor. He often works with paper. This is, I believe oil but I didn't ask. There wasn't a description show. I like that actually. I think all the galleries should do it--make people talk about the work they enjoy.
