Galerie Daniel Templon (Paris, Brussels) showed work by Omar Ba at Expo Chicago 2016. Ba, from Senegal, lives and works both in Dakar and Geneva. His work is a combination of personal, political and cultural images and ideas. You see the real next to the surreal with every stroke is part of a larger, complicated context. You can find out more about Ba HERE (we've posted this link before).
Both of these pieces are oil, acrylic, gouache and pencil on canvas.
Galerie Daniel Templon has been around for 50 years when Daniel Templon was 21 years old. The gallery moved to its current location near the Pompidou Center in 1972, the same year Templon and Catharine Millet founded the magazine, Art Press.
