White Wives are heading out on a month long December headlining tour. It starts in Chicago—which takes some guts. It can be miserable here in December. The band is supporting their record, Happeners, which came out earlier this year.
The band members include members of Anti-Flag, Dandelion Snow and American Armada. BUT they are at pains to say this is not a “side project.” This isn’t where they go to deposit songs not good enough for their other bands. This really doesn’t have a lot to do with Anti-Flag.
They are insipired by the Provo movement—a counterculture movement from the 60s who employed non-violence and absurd humor to get violent reactions from the cops.
