He apparently learned to dance from James Brown and had his first guitar lesson from George Harrison (lots of name dropping for two sentences huh?). His second LP, ADA, is out April 1, 2014. You can check out the track, Dancing On The Radio, below. Myself? I am waiting for the movie about his dad's abortive attempt to adapt the book, Dune.  Plaid's tenth record, Reachy Prints, is set to come out May 20, 2014 on Mute Records. Check out a stream of the track, Hawkmoth, below. Plaid are always a fun twist on electronic music--always different, always distinctive. They've flown under the radar for a very long time but there is a pretty good chance they've influenced one of your favorite artists (especially if electronic music, that broad amorphous thing, is YOUR thing).
