Lucius Release Single, "Genevieve," Head Out On Tour

Lucius have a new single, Genevieve, which you can har below. The track is on the group’s eponymous debut. The EP was produced by Tony Berg who has worked with Aimee Mann and Beck as well as Steve Wall who has worked with Meshell Ndegeocello. Dan Molad of the band also was in on the production.

Clare And The Reasons Share New Video, Shows

Clare and the Reasons just premiered the new video for their track, Bass Face. The video was shot in Berlin on 35 mm. So it really isn't a "video" but a short film! The film features and stars Benn Berbank-Green who deserves a shout out for this work (he also did the video for the track, Lake).

Clare and Olivier Manchon recently scored the film, Deceptive Practice: The Mysteries and Mentors of Ricky Jay which premiered at the New York Film Festival. More scores are in the works.

Cold Specks Have A New Video For Hector, Touring Soon

Cold Specks not only have a new video for their track, Hector, they are a few weeks away from their headlining North American Tour. Hector is the latest single off the band's debut, I Predict A Graceful Expulsion. Tour dates are below.

The band is fronted by Al Spx, a Canadian native now living in London. The band call their genre "doom soul." It is about time there was a genre called "doom soul."

Ben Caron Releasing Ep, Love Me Too, November 13, 2012, Video Out Now

Ben Caron, a singer songwriter out of Los Angeles, is releasing a new EP. Love Me Too comes out November 13, 2012.

Caron has been recording his debut full-length in bits and pieces funded by fans via his blog. This new EP is the latest installment. It is also the last installment and following this all the other EPs will be remixed and remastered as one LP. The release date is currently set for February 2012.

Farewell Republic Releasing 2nd LP, "Young Effete Titans Of Industry", In Early 2013

Farewell Republic, will release a new LP in early 2013. The new release, Young Effete Titans of Industry, follows the groups acclaimed--and self-released--debut, Burn The Boats.

Burn The Boats came out in February 2012 and shortly thereafter the band began demoing out the new record. The band's sound ranges from space rock to shoegaze.

Wedding Dress, Out Of Chicago, Release Debut Tracks

I don't know much about the new Chicago band Wedding Dress, except that the group is made up of members of Maps & Atlases and Love of Everything. I also know that they have some music on their bandcamp page. One track, Dangerous Living, is linked below.

You can also go HERE to buy Dangerous Living and the a second track, Old Time Thorns. It is a "name your own price" sort of thing (do not be a cheapskate).

Well worth a listen and I hope to hear more from the band soon.

Milkman has recently had a run of success with several singles and also played at Jay Z's Made in America Festival. High on Stress, out of Minneapolis, have a video for their track. These Days Are Gone, off the band's latest recording, Living is a Dying Art. The video is HERE.

The band is also playing a show at November 17 at Kitty Kat Club in Minneapolis. The bill also includes; Bethany Larson and the Bee's Knees, Disaster Bird and Adam Svec.
