Auto Defiance first full-length, Running on the Edge, is now out. The full length follows an EP, Damiana’s Dream and a single, The Ghost Inside Your House.

Odesza, out of Seattle, is touring the Western USA this March (first ever tour) with Emancipator and Little People. The duo are touring after their self-released debut, Summer’s Gone. You can get the record as a free download at the band website, odesza.com.

Up to this point they have only played a few dates in the Pacific Northwest. This time they go further afield. Dates are below.

The Tontons, out of Houston, have a new 7 inch , Bones, coming in February. The band is also playing some shows here and there  On February  1 at Stubbs in Austin, Texas (7 inch release show) and on February 2 at Watlers in Houston (another 7 inch release show).

There will be shows during SXSW and additional dates coming.

The new OMD record’s artwork was just released as have tour dates—below.  The new record, English Electric, comes out April 9, 2013. You can get the LP in a standard jewel case and in a deluxe edition with media book, CD, bonus DVD (which includes interview),  three animated videos and never before seen tour photos. Highasakite, out of Norway, have a new single, Son of a Bitch, out now. The band’s U.S debut EP, In and out of weeks, comes out March 5, 2013.  The band released their first record in Norway last year and they gathered attention with appearances at festivals, including Berlin Music Week.

The band plays indie pop—mixing 60s American pop, Norwegian folk and undoubtedly touches from their own jazz music education.

Certainly a band to keep an eye on. They will be playing in the USA in March. No specific dates yet but there will be NYC, L.A. and SXSW. Confirmed dates below.

Diamond Version have an new ep, EP3, coming digitally January 29, 2013 and on 12 inch. The band is releasing five EPs. Check out the video for the track, Turn On Tomorrow, below.

A full-length based on all the EPs is coming out in the summer of 2013.

Native, out of Indiana, are heading out on a North American tour in February. Some dates are solo but a big chunk are with Caspian. Dates are below.
