They come from Australia (or one of them does) but they inhabit Brooklyn. WAZU are a band that is getting a wee bit of buzz lately. They have a three song, self-titled, ep out as well as a video for the track, Murder 1.

The EP was produced by Kevin McMahon who also worked with Swans, The Walkmen, Titus Andronicus and Real Estate. The band has some shows in the offing (look below). A full length, also McMahon-produced, comes out in the summer of 2012.
