Vincent Minor ‘s debut record comes out September 21 and the singer/songwriter has pulled out the stops when it comes to guest appearances. Among participants are producer Tom Biller. Biller has produced the likes of Fiona Apple and Sean Lennon. Playing keyboards is Zac Rae who has played for Annie Lennox , horn player Stewart Cole and bassist Ed Maxwell.
The record is refered to, in the press release, as fusing indie pop with Tim Pan Alley tunesmithery. Hmm. I confess to not being entirely sure what that means but it does start me thinking about Yeah Yeah Yeahs singing Brother Can You Spare a Dime. I kid…I kid.

Minor will be out on tour nationwide this summer. He is spending a week in each city and assembling a new band for each show (like Chris Harford did awhile back with his “Band That Changes”.)
